Last year Dominic Power offered his support in helping our young students to make a short feature film on mental health. We never imagined such an extraordinary outcome. Six months later we are proud to be screening this special premiere of BLINDS at the BFI in London.

A stark and at times brutal look at the effects of suffering from mental health issues. The film invites us to question our own relationship towards mental health and consider the potential plight that might be going on inside of those around us. The film was made with zero budget, using the Miskin Theatre and NK College’s resources.

Blinds not only showcases the cast’s raw and thoroughly engaging acting talents but they also crewed the entire shoot.
