Miskin Theatre present ‘I Love You Mum, I Promise I Won’t Die’

 In Acting, Technical Theatre

The words of the play’s title are the last ones spoken by sixteen year old Daniel Spargo-Mabbs to his mother. In January 2014, Daniel’s parents thought he was going to a party with friends. He actually attended an illegal rave and later died after taking MDMA.

Miskin Theatre present the play, written by Mark Wheeller, in an immersive and thought provoking way, to share Daniel’s story.

His parents founded the DSM Foundation to work with young people and educators to open dialogue regarding drug use.
