EXCITING NEWS! Christmas Production in Progress

As we are all aware, Covid-19 has had a huge impact on live theatre and the entertainment industry as a whole. We have really missed working on shows here at the Miskin, as unfortunately we had to cancel several major productions in the summer.

Excitingly, we are currently working on a Christmas production, which will be streamed the week of the 15th December. This will be FREE to view, more details to follow soon.

We will also be offering a free link to schools, with the option of a live Q&A with the actors afterwards.

As always with our productions, the set, costumes, props, lighting, sound and AV will be designed, built and operated by our first and second year theatre technicians. The actors are rehearsing, and it’s all coming together to become a great show. We will be collaborating with the media department here at the Miskin, who will be filming and editing the performances.

It’s not quite ‘business as usual’ but we are making the best use of the excellent facilities and the amazing talent we have here, and are adapting to this new way of doing things.
