Clare trained in Technical Theatre at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. Following this, she worked as an assistant stage manager on several local and touring productions and at many corporate events.

She then changed career pathways, going on to train as a youth worker before progressing into a career in child protection and social services. This also involved running playschemes for young people with additional needs. This was a rewarding time, helping many young people achieve their full potential.

Clare is delighted to have come full circle, coming back to her love of all things backstage. She is very proud to have helped train aspiring young technicians, with many going on to gain places at prestigious universities and conservatoires and work successfully in the industry.
