Fiona left school realising she wanted to sew for the rest of her life. She went to Art College in Manchester to do a vocational course in Art and design; concentrating on Pattern cutting. 

Later, she went on to do a Higher National Diploma in fashion Design in Southampton, then eventually a Technical Theatre Arts Degree here in Kent; specialising in Costume/Wardrobe. 

Her professional work has been in; Fashion/tailoring, Costumes construction, Scenic Drapes, Set dressing, curtain making, upholstery and Soft furnishing.
