Julia started her training at the Gay Holdforth School of Dancing in Kent. At 16 Julia started full-time training at the Stella Mann College in London leaving with four distinctions in Teacher Training including ballet, tap and modern Associates for the I.S.T.D and the Teacher’s Certificate for the Royal Academy of Dancing.
Julia graduated in 1997 and started her professional career straight away as a dancer working for Costa Cruises for two years. In 1999, she joined Carnival Cruise Lines where, for the next five years, she danced in the productions on board the MS Sensation, Inspiration and The Paradise.
In 2004 Julia moved to Montreal, Quebec, the French province in Canada to start her career as a teacher and choreographer. She taught mainly ballet and modern dance in many dance studios in and around Montreal. She choreographed for many shows and events including the yearly ‘soirée du danse’ raising thousands of dollars for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
Julia returned to England in 2010 and began teaching at Liz Burville Performing Arts in Bexley. She is now Principle of Liz Burville Performing Arts.
